High up on the pedestal you will find Contest 36. The rich racing-green sun-ray dial is framed by a ribbed bezel on a brushed silver case. Produced in a limited batch of 100 pcs.
As seen, the contrasting yellow-striped arrow hands compliment the deep green dial with a pop of colour. We loved the yellow so much that we had to trade it for the luminous white-striped hands on the other models. This time, aesthetics won over functionality. Luckily, the watch brings out its best self in daylight.

We designed this collection with the wearer in mind, ensuring maximum comfort with a sleek traditional case size of 36 mm in width and 7 mm in height, a 4 o'clock crown placement and a watch band that feels good on the wrist. This model is versatile enough to be worn by both men and women, and can be your companion in both formal settings and when keeping it casual.
A 36 mm dress watch may feel small for some on the wrist with its typical 18 mm wide watchband. That is why we designed our case to have wider lugs than those typically seen in cases of this size, giving it a more robust look and allowing for a wider watchband (20 mm).
Speaking about watch bands, we have carefully chosen leather that matches the design, ages beautifully and sewn with thick thread. They all come with a "quick-change" function making them easy to change. So do not forget to explore the alternatives.

Why did we place the crown at 4 o’clock?
We choose the 4 o’clock crown because its less likely that the crown would catch on to things, it doesn’t irritate the hand and according to us it makes adjusting the time easier.
How do I change the date?
An analogue quartz movement such as Ronda 704 requires adjusting its date five times per year. Advance the date on those months that has less than 31 days.
The crown has 3 positions.
Position I: Watch is running normally.
Position II: Changing date.
Read recommendation below before using this function*
– Pull the crown out to position II (watch still running).
– Turn the crown until the current date appears.
– Push the crown back into position I.
Position III: Changing time.
– Pull the crown out to position III (watch stopped).
– Turn the crown, until the current time is displayed.
– Push the crown back into position I.
*A general rule is to avoid using the date change function when the movement is already engaged in changing its date. The movement has a 24-hour cycle, and the date changes between 9.30 PM - midnight. It is not recommended to use this function during this time span as you would take the risk of causing damage to the mechanism. Follow the rule of thumb for changing the date on analogue date-equipped watches
– Pos III. Change the time to around 5:00 (AM or PM).
This time the movement would be disengaged in changing date.
If the date changes when turning the hands past 12, its AM,
otherwise PM (24-hour cycle).
– Pos II. Change to current date.
– Pos III. Change to current time.
How do I take care of my watch?
Normal routine applies, such as storing the watch in a dry, clean and soft space. Do not wear the watch while showering or swimming, and avoid contact with chemicals (cleaning/skin products, perfumes, chlorine etc). Gently wipe the watch with clean cloth from dirt or residue.

The Contest 36 is a great quality watch with a classic yet distinctive colour scheme that works well with the cognac band. The watch feels light and not bulky at all.
British racing green with yellow dials and a brown leather strap, what can go wrong?! A great looking classic watch that feels like a bargain for this price, it breathes quality, and it's very comfortable to wear! Extra bonus for the easily exchangeable watch straps, so in a matter of seconds you can change the whole outlook to better suit another occasion!
Riktigt fin box som klockan kommer levererad i och det första man lägger märke till är valet av en fin brittisk racing grön urtavla och de fina detaljerna. Elegant kombination av det ljusa läderbandet, den gröna urtavlan, och de romerska siffrorna. Den gula visaren gör att den sticker ut. Extremt bra design.
Klockan är klassisk, inte för stor inte för liten och passar till dom flesta tillfällen.
Kronan är lite liten så man skall ha bra grepp för att ändra tiden. I helhet är jag riktigt nöjd med klockan, och kommer ha på mig den konstant.Mikael.R
